The City Council of the City of Clearlake on November 19, 1980 adopted its Ordinance No. 1 pursuant to the provisions of California Government Code Section 35441 adopting all ordinances of the County of Lake for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after that date; and the City Council of the City of Clearlake seeks to provide for the continued applicability of certain portions of the Lake County Code within the boundaries of the City of Clearlake after the expiration of the one hundred twenty (120) day period; and California Government Code Section 5022.9 authorizes a city to adopt county ordinances and codes by following the procedure outlined therein.
