The purpose of the Committee is to assist the City Council in establishing the needs of the community. The Citizens Advisory Committee shall make recommendations to the Council and initiate studies on such subject matters as are requested or approved by the City Council. The Citizens Advisory Committee shall arrange to have one or more of its members attend meetings directly affecting the residents of the City, including, but not limited to school board meetings, PTA meetings and any other type where matters relating to the City of Clearlake are concerned. No expression or opinion on behalf of the City may be offered or given by the Committee or any of its members without the prior approval of the City Council. (Ord. #61, S6)
