Pursuant to Section 2-5, the Office of Director of Finance is separate from the Office of City Clerk, and the duties imposed upon the City Clerk by Government Code Sections 37201 through 37208 inclusive, and the financial and accounting duties imposed upon the City Clerk by Sections 40802 through 40805 of the Government Code are declared to be duties of the Director of Finance in accordance with Sections 40805.5 and 37209 of the Government Code.
