The Chief of Police shall, with the approval of the City Manager, appoint a member of the Police Department to act as Chief of Police in the event of his absence or disability. Whenever there is no such deputy appointed, the City Manager will designate a person to so act. (Ord. #15, S3; Ord. #2012-153)
