Any person violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred ($500.00) dollars or by imprisonment for a period of not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
