A violation of any provision of this Chapter is punishable as an infraction by a fine not exceeding one hundred ($100.00) dollars; or as a misdemeanor by a fine of not more than five hundred ($500.00) dollars, or by imprisonment in the County Jail for a period of not more than six (6) months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
