The City conducted an engineering and traffic survey in June 2013, and that survey recommended the establishment of certain speed limits on major streets within the City.

Pursuant to the authority of Sections 22358 and 22357 of the Vehicle Code, the City Council has determined that the following speed limits should be established and appropriate signs giving notice thereof should be erected on the affected streets.

Certain other traffic regulations appear to the City Council to be necessary to promote traffic safety and efficient traffic circulation within the City. (Ord. #2014-172)
