11-2.2 Solid Waste Disposal Sites.
It is in the public interest that this City assist the County of Lake in raising the funds necessary to provide for the operation of the Lake County Disposal Site located at the easterly end of Davis Street in the City of Clearlake. To that end, the City Council shall, annually in the month of March, review the fee schedule set by the Board of Supervisors pursuant to Government Code §25830 for improved parcels of real property located within the unincorporated area of the County, and shall determine whether or not it is appropriate to:
a. Levy similar fees on all improved lots within the City;
b. Enter into an agreement with the County of Lake authorizing the County to bill the owners of all improved lots within the City in accordance with the City's fee schedule; and
c. Authorize the County to use the fees so collected to partially defray the annual operating cost of the Solid Waste Disposal Site. (Ord. #16, S1)
