Article 6-7 INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR DIAL-A-RIDE TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES
6-7.1 Vehicle Insurance.
No dial-a-ride transportation vehicle shall be operated within the City of Clearlake unless there is in full force and effect and covering each vehicle, a policy of insurance executed by a duly authorized agent of the insurance carrier and in such form as deemed proper by the City of Clearlake. Said policy shall insure the public against any loss or damage that may result from the operation of said vehicle and shall provide for maximum recovery of not less than the following schedule:
a. Single combined limit of not less than three million ($3,000,000.00) dollars for injury or death resulting from any single occurrence.
b. Not less than one million ($1,000,000.00) dollars for injury or death of any one (1) person resulting from any single occurrence.
c. Not less than one million ($1,000,000.00) dollars for property damage resulting from any single occurrence. (Ord. #27-90, S1)
