All commercial kennels and pet shops shall be designed to provide adequate exercise area and to permit the premises to be kept in a clean and sanitary condition; constructed so as to prevent animals confined therein from running at large; maintained in a clean and sanitary condition and conducted in such a manner that they will not cause detriment or nuisance in the immediate neighborhood. Periodic inspections of licensed kennels and pet shops shall be made by the Animal Control Officer at such intervals as he deems necessary. A reinspection need not be made annually as a condition of license renewal. (Ord. #41, A5, S4)
